Cultivated on the hilly plateaus at low altitude in Sicily 'the land of the sun'. The hot and dry climate is the best habitat for the growth of this legume.

Chickpeas have a great versatility of use in both hot (soups, first courses) and cold (salads) recipes. The creams are also excellent to combine with delicate dishes.

Soak for 12 hours and cook for 1 hour and a half or 2. In a pressure cooker, 20 minutes are enough from the moment the pot whistles.
